Default Any idea of where i should take my 17 civic to have the rear main seal changed ?

As the title says, my rear main seal is out and i suppose the oil pan needs to be replaced or at least the gasket. I tend to do these jobs myself however, im kinda tired of working on the car atm. If its not to much id love to take in to a shop that isn't going to flip out when its full bolt ons and so forth. This is in the Sacramento Ca area N.Cal. Know any shops around the 916 like this ?

Thanks in advance and i hope i put this in the right area sorry if not!

Twisted

Oil pan is just hondabond gasket maker. No gasket. Would be odd for something so new to be leaking at the rear main or the oil pan.

Any independent shop should be able to take care of this or maybe diagnose it.

I used the car for lyft and uber.. put 200k on it fast. Blew the engine put in a used one. I may have caused it myself or it came this way. I think someone said i should change out that seal and some other seal when transferring the and mating the eng to it. I got the part today along with some other items..pooks easy enough.

Thanks btw, i appreciate the insight!

Casey.

We’re you able to change it out yet? I always thought for the rear main seal, the transmission and flywheel had to be removed. I don’t know if it can be changed just by dropping the oil pan. Maybe you can just let it leak and put oil in it more often?
