Hi all, I'm getting a p1600 on my 03 Civic Hybrid. Any one have a clue what this means? I can't find it anywhere. Thanks.

 

P1600 is the generic code for IMA System Malfunction.

There is typically another code to go with a P1600 that would be a more specific IMA related code. Some scan tools won't read the IMA codes.

 

Thanks for your reply OH Great1. It did have two other codes 1433 and 0128. The car seems to be running fine but the IMA lights are on. Everything is charging like it is supposed too. I'm thinking my main battery may have an issue in a cell or something to cause a lower voltage than the car would like.
