I sold my white, fully registered, real deal EG4 on this forum back in 2006 in Southern California.

I know it’s a long shot but I am trying to track it down and get in touch with the current owner.

I don't know if this would work with an imported car with an assigned VIN, but if you have the VIN you could run a Carfax. You might at least find out when/where the car was last registered. It would narrow the scope of your search so you can reach out to more specific forums.

 

I only remember the VIN was the Japanese VIN and started with EG4#######

With that being said, you don't give us a VIN number to help you, what state you sold it to, or any information for that matter.

You basically just came in saying "Yo I sold my car a while back and now regret it. If someone see's it let me know! frownyface frownyface frownyface"

I understand what you’re saying. I simply don’t know the full VIN. And i sold it in the Los Angeles area. Trust me I wish I had the VIN , license plate etc but i don’t unfortunately.

Sucks but even when you sold it you showed signs of hesitation and regret. You should have then helped yourself stay in touch with the status of the vehicle. It’s a Civic, not a 1970 Cuda. I’d say you’re up **** creek.

Have you attempted to go by the DMV and see if they can look up the VIN via your records?
