I can show you anything on a Honda, but when it comes to anything else (Especially mitsu) I have no clue. This OZ rally belongs to my buddy, he knows for sure it needs a new rear motor mount, and I determined today that it needs a front one as well, due to the lack of a mud shield.....

Any ideas on how to go about fixing the issue? He has new coil wires and plugs but the doorknob is too lazy to put them in, he also doesn't have a CEL of any type.

I don't hear misfire, sounds to me like lifter tick. All different engines but my 04 Ralliart 4G69, 4G63 Eclipse GS-T and Evo 4g63 tick a lot louder than that. My Evo ticks loud on cold start up and the Ralliart ticked louder once it was warmed up. Pretty common with Mitsubishi's and usually not a problem. I'd switch to a different oil either Mobile1 or Brad Penn, swap plugs and see if it goes away. If not I wouldn't be concerned. If you are, swap the lifters.

Edit didn't see you swapped plugs already. Switch to a high quality high zinc oil.
