Default DOHC ZC Turbo Plan..

Ive got an 89 hatch with DOHC ZC sittin in it, looking for power. Im planning on boosting her when the weather gets warmer, i know these zc blocks are tough, and i dont want a DIY dsm turbo setup.. i kinda feel like buying a kit this time.. anyone know of a good kit to look for? remember its a dohc zc... can i look for kits made for any D-Series? or specifically 92-95? ( because my car is obd1).. let me know guys, thanks

my buddy will be doing the same thing in the next few months....I know that the bolt pattern for the DOHC ZC motors are the same but the exhaust ports arent exactly the same as the SOHC motors. Bump for some info cause im curious too

I am using the Greddy SOHC 15G kit now as a base. I changed the exhaust housing and DP, to a ported stainless piece instead of the cast Greddy piece.
I considered selling it at a time, but have seen great results using this sized turbo...

I was under the impression that all D series are the same (ZC included). I guess if you wan to pay more money you could buy a nice kit but you can piece one together for about half the price. Personal preference I guess, but in response to your question, I would put a bigger turbo on a ZC than on a single cam.

yes, it clears. I ran the same size turbo in my 00' and 96 coups, they both had a/c and cleared fine. My CRX has no a/c but I know it would clear it.
