Turning my 98 2.3L accord into a rally car and need opinions
So I got a 98 accord for free and I’m looking to make a badass rally car out of it. The engine runs good, it’s a manual transmission, the only thing I’ve had to done was fix a freeze plug. If anyone out there has any part suggestions it would help out a lot. I’m looking for new dampers, lower and upper arms, turbo or supercharger, new clutch, shifter and a ton of other things. I’ve never built a rally car and really need some advice and help, thanks

The Accord chassis is a wee bit on the heavy side and under powered for a badass rally car.
More HP, a diet and coil over suspension would be a start.
What is your budget for this badass rally car?

Budget is around $7,000. We are going to lose the back seats and strip the inside. Also lose some weight on the door panels, hood, and truck, wanting to make those fiber glass or carbon fiber. The exterior is not really a concern right now though. Just need help finding the best things for hp and suspension

So I think you need to take a look at why you want to build this. What is your ultimate goal with the car? "Rally" car is pretty vague. Is this just a fun project? Is there some league you're wanting to participate in that has restrictions about what can be used? Also what in particular about this chassis makes you want to turn it into a rally car?
