If the EGT sensor is disconnected or faulty it can cause rough starts and stalls as the ECU requires the signal from the sensor for fuel and timing.

Thanks for your comment. The only way to star the engine is try crank three to four times (without turning the key back to point1) when the check in engine light comes on, and at the next time I can start the engine normally. Perhaps the cylinder #1 is not recognized. I tried replacing the distributor with a new one, but nothing changes.
The last Thursday i disconnected and connected the EGT sensor to clean the contacts and the engine did not start anymore.
I hope that by replacing the sensor I can fix it.
What do you think?

First thing to do if the CEL is lit, is to have the ECU scanned for stored codes. If there are codes stored they will point you in the right direction.
