Default Car fans won’t come on

hi guys, i’m having an issue with my cooling fan. No ac so i don’t have to worry about the ac one but my car’s regular cooling fan won’t come on. I know the fans work because i jumped the two connectors and the fan came on. I’ve replaced the fan switch in the block but the new one won’t work either. I also swapped the relay on the engine side with the power window one (one i know works) and still no fans. Double checked the fuse on the driver side box as well. Any advice?

What makes you think the fan should come on? Having said that, there is a particular thermocouple sensor that triggers the fan...I believe it's the one...wait I don't even know what car you have exactly!? What I'm trying to get to here is that perhaps the thermocouple is bad and thus not able to send the signal to turn the fan on to begin with. To check this sensor you may be able to backprobe it with T-pin(s) on to a multimeter to check voltage.

Just a thought.

Apply power to the fans themselves and see if they spin. Next check the relays. Lastly check the 4adiator fan timer above the glove box
