What chassis are you working on?
This link is from G2IC, it's for installing power folding mirrors on a DA. I don't know how different a DC would be.

I've done it, and I really like the end result, for parking in a really tight garage.
A couple things to note, you have to swap out the entire housing AND glass from the LHD mirrors, unless you just happen to be switching to RHD.
You cannot cut the wires, you have to de-pin them. If you try to do anything like cut and solder or crimp you will find out real quick that you can't get the wires back through the joint. I'll see if I can dig up my old post.
Some good info in here: https://honda-tech.com/forums/acura-...tegra-1658051/

Re: JDM Plwer Folding Mirror Help!!
so just out of curiosity my car is LHD but why can’t I just use the JDM mirrors if they bolt right onto my door? Why do you have to take the motors out of the JDM mirrors and put them in the USDM housings? I’m just asking so I can comprehend it better and to see if it’s worth it.

Re: JDM Plwer Folding Mirror Help!!
The actual mirrors on a LHD and RHD car are different due to the position of the driver. If you put RHD mirrors on a LHD car you will not be able to out of the properly. You should be able to swap the mirrors between your LHD and RHD mirrors and just mount the whole unit onto the car.

this is great help!!! Doesn’t seem too hard to do then. I am mechanically inclined so I see what had to be done in the electrical side too. Thanks for the help! Much appreciated.

one last question, does it matter if I buy the mirrors for a 4door integra? Are they different than the 2 doors since I’m just going to be using the internal did the mirror...?

Sedan mirrors mount differently than the coupe. The mirror housing is the same but the base plate is different.

If you want to understand first hand, go sit in your passenger seat and try to adjust the LHD mirrors so you can see out.
It was not that difficult to swap the housing, as long as you depin the wires.
