90 accord, code reading
A mechanic once showed me how to lift the passenger floor panel to read codes using the big red blinking light. I don't remember the steps that lead up to getting it to display. I vaguely remember him pulling some fuses. Was that just to clear the code when we were done?
Could someone please refresh my memory on what steps I need to take? I am a car noob with some understanding, and have passed my accord onto my little sister so I'd like to remember what check engine code I had a few years ago.

Re: 90 accord, code reading
It's easier to just short your computer and read the codes on the dash. Your passanger kidk panel there will be a blue connector, use a paper clip ir a small piece of wire to short your computer. Then look at your blinking CEL and count, for example CEL 15 code would be 1 long blink and 5 short blinks.

Its not hard, be hind the passanger kick panel there is a wire with a blue connector, use a paper clip or small wire to make the connection then turn your key on and you should get the codes
