Questions about a 91 crx
I've recently become the proud owner of a 91 crx si. I have a lot of questions and thought I could compile them here.
1) As of now I have no cracks on my dash is there any cleaners I should avoid and any you would recommend?
2) my sunroof motor sounds like it's working but the sunroof doesn't go up I was told it needed to the tracks greased. How difficult is that and what is recommended to use as lubrication? I also have a clogged drain but plan to clean that out
3) the sunroof has some rust is there a way to replace it without a carbon fiber plug I like the sunroof but want to make sure it doesn't leak (like it did during a storm)
4) any advice or common problems I should look out any advice is much appreciated!
I know I likely sound very uneducated but seeing as this car is 99 percent stock I want to preserve it as well as I can

Re: Questions about a 91 crx
1) i think i remember armor all actually used to crack vinyl dashboards, but i think they changed their formula. so thats probably not a concern now. but really, ive not seen cracked honda dashes.
2) your sunroof switch needs cleaning. its a typical issue and its usually not the motor or anything else. pop it off and disassemble and use dielectric grease inside.
3) no real fix for sunroof rust.
4) too many problems to mention. but rarely do i hear of a "new" problem that hasnt already been sufficiently addressed. just search for whatever youre concerned with or start a separate post and ask a question.
