Nice car but very over priced.

Also seems stupid to me that this was deemed "news" worthy, but whatever.

The point is that it's not overpriced. Look at the recent sales.

That one has been for sale for a while now. These cars are trending up so the price is not too bad.

There is one in my area with 30k on it and the dealer is asking 35k for it. Has tasteful JDM ITR modifications only (16 inch gm wheels w/A caps, MOMO SRS wheel, Recaro seats, ect). I think it is a fair asking price, if it was lower, some loser would buy it and ruin it. let someone who appreciates it get their hands on it. I've been considering it.

Seeing a extra low mileage one for $35,000 isn't surprising.

The price of salvage titled Type Rs are going up also. I guess they just aren't making them anymore.

Nothing too crazy about that asking price in today's market. Perhaps slightly on the high side but everyone is free to ask whatever they want. I was offered about $28K USD for my 2000 CW CDM spec with 50K miles and I turned it down

Recently someone paid $15k for untitleable ITR on copart...

And yet my 2000 PY hasn't sold yet for $17k, in spite of matching VINs, no rust, and clean title. Instead I have 20+ people telling me why my price is too high.

Just this morning, somebody told me that they had a low miles 2000 PY that they sold for $8000 two years ago, and that they regretted selling their caR, and now they wanted to buy mine. But I had to reduce my price. I felt like responding, "So you want me to make the same mistake you made?"

Bought my R for 6500 about a 1 1/2 year ago, lucky me. Mileage is unknown, original motor and trans, rear passenger panel and trunk were replaced) and sold it for 14k two months ago so anything is possible if the right buyer wants it bad enough.

I'm finally ready to put MY Type R up for sale and am very interested in what I will get for it in the end. It seems to be hit and miss. I'm putting it up on the typical places that get you a bunch of low-life individuals, giving you ridiculous offers. Such as "offer-up" and "craigslist". I just wonder if I'll be getting it in front of the right people, in order to subsequentially get realistic offers.
A buddy at work shared an app where a TOTAL LOSS ITR, with air bags deployed in the pic and 220k on the clock, sold for 10k! Crazy.

LOL Right?
Well said. They want to rationalize why YOUR asking too much, all while regretting letting THEIRS go for too little.

I feel like I'll be in your same boat now.
