Default Will my b18a1 run without this sensor?

pretty sure I broke this sensor hole when I first got this swap and had it welded shut. Not sure because I don’t remember...
But will I be able to run no problems? I’m running a hondata p28 Incase I needed/ or could, work around it. Pics speak...

The single wire sensor that is missing from the top photo is the oil light warning switch on the gauge cluster... the computer doesn't even know it is there.

You can always use a sandwich plate for the oil filter if you need /want an oil pressure gauge..

What about the fan switch? Your car should run without it, but your radiator fans kinda sorta really REALLY need it.

On another note, if you need a fan switch, can you bolt on a T-stat housing from a b18b/c/b20?

If you do not use the fan switch that is pictured, the electric fan will not come on automatically and it is likely that the car will overheat while sitting at idle or moving at low speeds in traffic. This means that you either need to use that sensor (or an OBD-1 or newer sensor that is found on the thermostat housing cover) to activate the cooling fan automatically or wire up a switch to manually activate it.
