My prelude stalls when I come to a stop, whats wrong with it?
I recently purchased a 1989 Prelude Si 4ws. About 2 weeks after purchasing the car it started stalling inttermittently. I have no idea what could be the cause, and input would be greatly appreciated!
Here's what happens:
It will start just fine, but after driving for a bit, (maybe 5-10 minutes, sometimes 30 minutes or more) it will stall when I come to a stop with the clutch in. When this happens I am not able to start the car with the starter, it only starts when I push start it. The motor cranks, but no start. I dont have a check engine light on, and I have no idea what the issue could be.
At one point I sent this text to my Dad:
"My car barley started and was idling at like 500-300 rpm and the check engine light came on. It died when I pulled into a parking lot, but it was still rolling, so I let the clutch out and it started again. Then when I got home I shut it off and tried to start it again, and it would crank with no start, but the check engine light went off."
It will also occationally not start when I park it. I pulled into a parking lot and shut the car off normally. When I tried to start it again in about 15 minutes, it cranked with no start, and I push started it.
Typically the car idles fine, and in the morning when I go to start it, it starts right up without any issues, and dies sometime after driving, usually in a busy intersection... Its super neat.
I have no clue what the issue could be, and any suggestions would be amazing. I havent replaced any parts yet to try to fix the issue, because I'm not sure where to start. Thanks!

hook up a harbor freight fuel pressure gauge and see if fuel pressure is dropping off when it dies
check the outer mesh filter of the iacv for carbon buildup
