Favorite drive train? CRX
1991 CRX - Clearly I'm indecisive, as I have read a number of pros and cons about which engine/trans to go with and why. Now I have ended up with a B20/b16 combo, B16 long block, and a b18 short block.
The fully assembled b16 came out of a strong running car, so I'm inclined to just install it and see how it does. I have a decent B16 trans with an occasional 3rd gear grind (from the same car), and a spare that I plan to rework with stock internals and LS 5th gear. Also have GSR LSD trans, but it has been run hard and will likely be overhauled before I opt to install it.
I'm looking for feedback and thoughts if anyone would like to share their experience with any of the above mentioned. My first thought was to do a nicely detailed write-up on all 3, and maybe go with a boost-friendly setup on the b18...
Thanks!

Re: Favorite drive train? CRX
B18 block, B16 head would be great for boost, 300hp potential with stock internals.
B20 block, B16 head would be better for NA, but could still be boosted to close to the same hp.
B16 block is not optimal for boost or NA.
GSR transmission is the best all around. I've heard from some people that the b16 + LS 5th combo wasn't the "best of both worlds" it's made out to be, but haven't tried it personally.
