----------------EDIT---------------

hey im kinda new here i decided to post my slow build thread, since i am a college student and am only working part time until school ends. i got this car not to long ago its a 91 civic dx with 12x,xxx miles on it. i brought it for 600 the only problem with the car at the time was the fuel pump relay which is i guess the most common problem with these cars yet i did not know so prior to doing my research here i ended up wasting 200ish on new ignition parts, oo well.. any comments or w.e is welcome
plans:
dpfi to mpfi swap
wire tuck
ls cluster swap/ electronic speed sensor
front and rear brake swap
all around suspension rebuild
da/dc seat swap
b16a (2gen) w/ lsd tranny
complete hydro conversion
eventually i wanna get the car painted

the car when i got it:

Try simply cleaning it well with either brake cleaner or PB Blaster

update: decided to start doing the wire tuck on the passenger side first since all the important stuff is on that side..
heres the before

AFTER

i might start making a write up for this soon.. it is pretty straight forward ive never really messed with wiring and and still in the process of extending wires and debating wether i want to keep the AC or not or if anything extend and run the AC wires and if i decide to remove the AC i can easily swap it back since all the plugs are in place already... any suggestions also im not sure how to remove the AC pipe lines without breaking them.. any suggestions...

If you already cleaned it, I would focus on your cable issue.

The TB needs to be cleaned real good if thats the issue at least take the butterfly plates out and scrub good, other cause it the jam nuts on the throttle cable to mount bracket being set to tight.

updates:
its been awhile since i last was able to work on my hatch and so i was back on it this past weekend i finished up the passenger side tuck and started the car. it ran fine till the check engine light came codes 3 and 9. i was able to fix code 3 which it seemed that one of the cables i had solder had broken and im still in the process of how to fix code 9 im not sure if its the dizzy since i think it came off an obd0 auto da that friend gave me or if it might be some wiring problem on the ecu end. will keep ya posted on that.
but on another note i picked up a pair oem fresh clear turn signal housings, front bumper slider/holder things (idk what the offical name is) and some fresh blue da seats for my car (will post pics later). i was wondering to swap da seats in do i need to change the railings or seat pan? can it bolt right on minus the one i keep hearing about.. i was thinking of using some kind of spacer and long bolt to make it work.. any suggestions?
