of course you need ecu matched to your engine

accord key wont work with prelude ignition switch

atleast with 5th gen when you swap to chipped ecu you only lose immobilizer - car work as normal...

if you swap whole wiring harness it could be the fastest way?

but then you have to swap is back if/when your h22 rebuild is ready

are you sure youre not mixing F22A and F23A which are completely different engines?

"Can i keep my prelude ecu?" No you cant since youre not using H22 so one option would be getting OBD2A to B...

without proper engine management its pretty pointless and then with it its getting pricey

get rather good suspension setup - power mods eat you wallet and gains are not that good

depends was it with vtec engine or not that do you need to rewire vtec to your engine harness

and of course its smart to get A4 ecu also

that just means he have to start newing everything if he buys it - clutch, timing things, spark things, new filters, new fluids and so on.... so take that in mind

without maintenance history you...
