Re: EG OR EK

Well, I'm currently restoring/building an EG Si Hatch and getting OEM parts for it is becoming more and more difficult.

But, for me, the EG hatch is simply one of my favorites.

Re: 1995 Civic Blower Motor won't turn off

Yeah, those resistors are essentially thin coils of metal and they are subject to corrosion and thus short out.

You are most welcome! Hope it fixes it!

Re: 1995 Civic Blower Motor won't turn off

You can probably get one of those at a local auto part house too. Call around.

Re: 1995 Civic Blower Motor won't turn off

Then, based on what you are telling me about the single speed, i'm pretty certain you have a faulty blower motor resistor.

Re: 1995 Civic Blower Motor won't turn off

Well, that system is pretty simple. It consists of the following:

Fan speed switch
Blower motor resistor
Blower motor

First thing I'd start with is checking the blower motor resistor. This...

Re: B20b to b18c1 or b18c5

Going from B20 to B18C1/R is straight forward. The only thing you will need to do is wire up VTEC solenoid and pressure switch. If you keep it OBD-2, then you will need to wire in a knock sensor as...

Re: First time B18A1 engine swapping seeking help! ( '94 del sol )

OBD1 would be plug n play. They do make cable to hydro conversion kits for the tranny.

Re: Can it be done

It's not hard. Since it is a 97, the right motor mounts, axles, ECU (You can go OBD2 or OBD1 with a converter). You may have to do some wiring if your coupe isn't a VTEC model.

Re: DIY civic eg EX hatch restoration

Nice! I am i the process of restoring a 92 Si HB. It wasn't near as bad as this.

Good thing you have a donor car...not sure how hard/easy it would be to get parts in what looks like Iraq.

Re: how much did it cost you to repaint your EG hatch?

Hard to judge...and it depends on a lot of factors.

How much work does the body need? What condition is the existing paint in? What type of finish are you wanting? What type of paint...

Re: HUGE HELP!!

The bigger question: Why are you trying to run it when you know that the head gasket is jacked? It will cause some problems.

Re: Vtec not working ! Please help starting to loose hope

Also, why didn't you wire up your VTEC solenoid and oil pressure switch to the ECU?

Re: Vtec not working ! Please help starting to loose hope

Wait. Why did you put a LS/VTEC oil kit on it? It is a GSR block with a GSR head, ergo, no need for a LS/VTEC oil system. I'm taking a stab, but i'm guessing the VTEC oil pressure sensor/switch isn't...

Re: 92-95 civic del sol si motor swap

H22's are good. Some modifications will be necessary such as using the cable shift linkage, mounts extend some wires, etc. Most eliminate the AC and PS, but, its not 100% an issue. I'd also...

Re: LiteraCola's B20-swapped 92 CX Hatch Build/Refresh Thread

Re: 92-95 civic del sol si motor swap

Which Del Sol model? Base? S? Si? or VTEC?

Any D or B series will fit with proper mounts. Depending on your model type, minimal to zero wiring will be required.

Easiest and cheapest would be a...

Re: Help me pick my next car!!!!

Well, if you are sticking to strictly B swaps, any 92-up would be great. If it were me, i'd only go hatch or coupe on a civic. If i am building a sedan, I'd rather do that with an Accord...but...

Re: Can somebody help me out with these codes!
