Don't do that yet.. My last post just got accidentally erased. I'll explain more shortly.

Re: Maxwellmercer-Quest for 500whp inside

Is the boost (vacuum) source the intake manifold or back to the compressor housing at this point?

Re: Txdragon's D16Z6 project: I've just boarded the Z6 bandwagon..

I think that's only because you keep trying to substitute some parts for others, and/or are missing a few various types of connections due to time/cost constraints. You kinda have to find one method...

Re: Maxwellmercer-Quest for 500whp inside

I'll take that criticism with pride, it's not like we're there or tuning the car ourselves. It doesn't mean the tune is bad. There may need a small tweak. That, or the solenoid. I don't think it's...

Re: Maxwellmercer-Quest for 500whp inside

that's because tuning is a bit off from the change. that source change can effect the tune very easily if it's based off of the original source

Re: KilowattBandit's needs suggestions for a Turbo B18C1/5

Not in every position or platform. I've found a significant difference in an actual turbocharger camshafts than the NA mild camshaft. the difference was mainly in torque creation for smaller...

Re: ARP CA625+ Evo Headstuds in a b series

No. I never bothered. I kept the file, but I've always known not to question my tuner, as I don't believe I'm a proper authority to question his work Besides, converting to COP doesn't sound like a...

Re: ARP CA625+ Evo Headstuds in a b series

I still believe there are other possibilities involved. Many of us, including myself, have over 530whp on standard ARPs. (Although I have TimeSerts now because the block has been in 52 events...

Re: ARP CA625+ Evo Headstuds in a b series

I never go by what drag purpose (or specific purpose only vehicles) do for their setups unless I know exactly what their thought process is behind something.

Just because something was possibly...

Re: rtv sealant for a LX Honda civic

None. you purchase an oil pan gasket from the USDM model. they typically fit, regardless of difference in part number

re: KilowattBandit's needs suggestions for a Turbo B18C1/5

Then use a turbocharger camshaft and not one designed around NA builds and were an older source from the early 2000s. These selections revolve a lot around the size of the turbocharger itself. You...

Re: ***Official Firearms Thread V3***

That's pretty cute. Hopefully you got the later model that didn't have the issues associated with it. My carry is my Walther PPS M1 w/ mag carrier appendix.

Re: ARP CA625+ Evo Headstuds in a b series

You'd be the first. There may be other reasons for the headlift, meaning that the threads of the block itself may be compromised where TimeSERTs may be required in your sleeved block. It's not...

Re: What injector seals are to be used on Edelbrock Victor X Intake Manifold?

This will be closed for no additional content, but at least it's been bumped so that if one comes up in a few years, you can be contacted.

Cheers.

re: Assistance Needed: Fotis2000 Intercooler End Tank creation. Suggestions welcome.

Your image link didn't work. Try that again.

With that said, that all depends upon the room available for where the compressor outlet can be rotated to allow for the shortest route to the inlet...

Re: mchefs turbo 01 sh thread

Looks very promising. especially with the GT30R family turbo with an internal wastegate. It reminds me of the 2-4 BB6 Chassis turbos I've worked on, a few times

re: Assistance Needed: Fotis2000 Intercooler End Tank creation. Suggestions welcome.

There's no best. You can do single back door, double back door, universal style. Or you can attempt to curve the entanks to minimize turbulence, but if it's not a race-only car, and you're not...

Re: Differences in Camshaft weight between VTEC & non-vtec. Not new, but interesting

The Camshaft weight has nothing to do with the comparison, The cylinder head flow difference is not only from the increased port size, but from the VTEC lobe camshaft profile. this is why VTEC heads...

Re: Txdragon's D16Z6 project: I've just boarded the Z6 bandwagon..

There ya go.. answering the question simply..

Stay 2.5" piping regardless of your needs. even if it is 2.0" on the compressor outlet, you're good to over 700whp.
