I'm also going to side with freshvibes. 12secdc2 is not a scammer. A poor packager, perhaps. However, a scammer would send you NOTHING and keep your money.
I bought a door from 12secdc2 and he didn't scam me at all. He had good communication with me, and I had no problems.
This is the fault of UPS's poor handling of their packages. They don't care about anything in the warehouses, so things get tossed around on purpose. This is why you never ship via UPS.

Seems as though you got screwed over big time on this one, i would never buy anything even close to $100 on paypal.
Even if you go thru ebay, the response you will recieve in any error or problem will be "the seller has agreed to review / return the item at your cost to ship it back" they can say whatever they want. They could ship you a Rock in a box, if it has a tracking number, its shipped.
Once you send your money and they provide a tracking number, its over.
In response here, if he did not ship anything the buyer could file a claim with paypal that it wasnt shipped. Rather then shipping nothing and risk having the money being revoked, he could ship something/anything and get what he wants out of it. Wether as to if it was described correctly or not Paypal always favors with the seller, if the buyer sends the item back and the seller says nope thats how it was described then thats that, and you have already paid to ship it back. Paypal is not buyer protection, it is seller protection.
