VIS carbon Fiber Lip 92-95 Civic NEW*
Alright guys, please this is for serious buyers, this item is not something you can just pick up when ever you want. This is a '92-95 Honda civic . The molded numbers into it are: VIs carbon Fiber lip

Please note! This lip has NEVER been mounted, and is NEW* never used, NO CRACKS in this lip, no hidden holes or anything. Th original box is not available due to I never got it with the lip. Real carbon Fiber and is being held in a locked room right now, do not want the kids running over it.

I don't ever remember Spoon using 2x2 weave on their front lips, only 1x1, embossing some part number that looks like a seibon/vis part number, and also painting the inside of the lip as its usually left raw, and it should have a spoon sports insignia either embedded in the fiberglass backing, or stuck to it.
That's fake.
If you want to know the real part number, its 71110-EGA-000. If you bought this as authentic, no foul done, but you were taken.

Oh and another thing, all Spoon lips are pre-drilled. Seibon/Vis/other replica company are not, such as the above.

not real sorry. I have one for a eg. that has wroung weave,not pre drilled, no spoon badge/sticker on back side.

Well that put's a bummer on my day, I guess I got ripped off bad? I traded it fro a gsr transmission that had a horrible bearing.

People on here generally don't have the ***** to put up fake parts and sell as real as they get spotted out quickly, however you put up good pictures, detailed at that to show the product at hand you were told was real. You're probably a good guy, but the replicas are not worth that much. JDMSHIT.com sells that same model above for $319 shipped. Too bad you have an integra or you could simply just use it. You should try trading someone your replica carbon lip for an integra one?

this is not a fake lip, i new the guy that purchased it we have been buds for a long time and i was with him when he ordered it from spoon. this is a first gen lip when spoon first started doing the carbon parts he got it like 6 years ago, i personally seen the receipts from spoon and he paid over 600 for it. i don't care what u guys say. this was before spoon started using the sticker the part number was stamped right in the mold if u look fore anyone who doesn't believe me they can call spoon themselves,

I am trying to keep the knowledge going considering I do not know much about Spoon. I am going to look for a phone number and Call them and see if someone in their company can identify if this is a replica or a Real Lip.
I will try to get as much information as possible. I am trying to sell this so Ic an save back up to get some parts for my DC, if you have any questions like I said just ask. Thanks guys.

I just called Opak racing I talked to a lady there, she said they would have someone call me back, but she said not " Not all Spoon Products like the carbon fiber parts have a sticker under the clear coat on the back of our products"
She also said that the 2x2 used to be used on Some of Spoon Products but that is all she knows, and someone will get back to me with a day or so.

They used to use it on their Mirrors oddly, but I have never ever seen a 2x2 twill weave lip.
What you have is a replica, not made by either Seibon, or Vis, so a less popular company, possibly carbon creations or another variant.

The part number on the part you have is 92CV2 (92 Civic 2 door) and SP001 (Spoon style, and the 001 for most likely first revision, as all replica companies have "type r lips, which differ in design from one another etc)

Hi guys I was contacted by a guy at Opak. GOod thing you guys know your stuff, and I am sorry for posting soemthing I didn't know about. This is a VS carbon Fiber lip, Not a Spoon. He said it was a very nice lip, but it was not a spoon.
