Default a strange idea to bust on scammers

i know this may sound a lil strange.. but as i read alot of sad stories on here i just think..man theres got to be a way to help bust on some of this besides posting... i was thinking all of us live all over.. when someone gets taken for a ride..they should look around on h-t to see if theres someone close to who ever is scamming.. now its strange i know.. but let me say that if you had a few friends drop by at sunday dinner real respectful with paypal, ebay account info or h-t logged and printed info.. it may help.. also if its an ebay or paypal account and they know their wrong.. it would make it a little hard for them to call the cops when you show up.. fraud is a wonderful thing.. its usually a federal crime above 100 bucks..so if you have solid proof.. there you go.. let them call... then the police have to make a report.. no ones going to jail for showing up on someones door and asking a few questions.. and if their is decent proof of fraud..the cops will definately do something.. a police report is need in any court battle..anyway.

my friend got taken for parts for an 01 cbr600.. we went there in force.. 5 of us .. im 30 the rest were a little younger.. we were real polite.. just showed up durring dinner and started asking questions till daddy came to the door.. my friend got his parts and his money back..

you just never know what showing up in person can do.. just dont fight..or be disrespectful.. bad checks?? thats a federal offense..contact the bank and then the f.b.i.. sounds stupid yea.. but cops dont play with bad checks.. fed's do..ive heard of people coughing up large amounts of cash to refund whatever due to a phone call from the fbi.. its a little intimidating..

sounds like a good idea, but who knows tho some people are crazy. and to put yourself at risk for someone elses items could be sumthing you would really have to know the person to do. i know that sounds shitty, but some people are crazy, it takes ***** to screw someone over to begin with, let alone going to their house and not exactly being the originial person who ''bought'' the item. i think it could work, but not sure if there are that many people who care about other peoples stuff that much sad to say really

well if i got scammed for a large sum of money..like i said.. go with several people.. and when you approach the door be polite and explain the situation.. may even wish to take the police since you are going with true proof of purchase. they may want to tag along just for ***** and giggles.. who knows.. hey its better then just laying down and letting them f*** you over.. damn if i got nailed for anything over 350 id say they added tacs and rock salt in the vasoline..

your right though.. it does take *****.. but so does ripping someone off for big money.. i see ppl on here getting taken for thousands.. that my friend is sad..theres no way in hell i would just let someone take a g from me and get away with it..

think of it this way as well.. 2-3 cars show up in a driveway along with a squad car in tow..(mr scammer is going to be a little nervous) if you ask police for an escort so theres no problems.. 99% chance they will come.. as a family member of mine whos a cop said.. better for them to tag along then to come to late..its just like asking a cop to escort you to a residence where you may have got thrown out of to collect any belongings you have..it costs nothing.. and will be highly intimidating once true proof of purchase and failure to deliver is shown.. its basic fraud infront of a cops face...especially if the cop starts asking questions..

yea it may be a stretch to get together.. but it would help in several ways
1) theres no way he would scam again
2) you could get your money or parts back
3) if the cop asks questions..then you have more evidence on file for any court case you are trying to build.
4)all h-t members who were involved could sign off on scam posts so they are sure that so and so is identified with full name and address..helping with no more vouches for theives trying to use a different sn..this info could also be sent to other forums..hey man if you steal peoples **** you will have your name smeard all over the net as a proven theif..it would definately help..if the names dont match the addresses will..to those of you stealing YOU SHOULD HAVE MORE THEN THIS COMMING..

I HAVE A BUNCH OF GUYS HERE ALSO IN LAW INFORCEMENT WHO WOULD GLADLY HELP IN SOUTHWESTERN PA / MORGANTOWN WV AREA

NOW WHAT SUCKAS??

BUMP BUMP

we just would need guidelines.. im talking to my old man.(FED).trying to see what we would need as far as paperwork..definately all of your info..paypal,ebay info..h-t info and a copy of a police report from your local p.d. signed before a notary making it a legal document..thats basicaly it so far.. better then getting taken for those of you buying large dollar items..this may be worth it and it wont cost you anything really..
