Re: JDM Wheels and Parts for sale
hey u ever ran sonem bushings on one of your cars? i was about to order the whole set, wondered if u had any feedback
if not, BUMP this up anyways  |
Re: JDM Wheels and Parts for sale
Yes, on both my EG and EK. I have nothing but good things to say about them. That's why I have no problem recommending them. They don't diminish any "streetability" from your car but they definitely tighten it up and take out the slop you'd expect from a car that's already 10 years old (or more).
I think it would be a benefit to someone for me to press in new SONEM trailing arm bushings into the rear disc before selling it. I know not everyone has access to a lift or can afford their car to be down. Thanks for the bump! Working out a trade for the CPR's right now but I'd much rather have the cash. If anyone is pondering them let me know quickly! |
Re: JDM Wheels and Parts for sale
cool, thanx for the info. about how many miles did u put on your sonem bushings? i was gonna order some hardrace bushings but the sonem's are a bit cheaper and look to be the same quaility. ive heard people give reviews on the hardrace ones after many many miles, just wondering how the sonem's stack up against them. heck, they might be made in the same factory in taiwan lol
and u are right, anyone that gets that rear disc conversion should go ahead and get those new bushings. u'd be doin them a favor by taking on that labor for them bump again for some good parts!!!! |
Re: JDM Wheels and Parts for sale
Hard to say. For the EK it's been two years, for the EG it's been a little over a year.
The hardrace are nice, I've used them before. The biggest problem with them is support. I didn't have a failure outside of my front camber kit but I know people have had fitment issues and no one to turn to. Also, they are not made in the same factory in Taiwan. I know there are some differences in the "recipe" for the rubber and each has its own advantage/disadvantage. But it's not like Hardrace supplying Megan or anything like that. |
