THIS ENGINE HAS JDM TYPE-R PISTONS, SKUNK 2 INTAKE MANIFOLD, A COMETIC HEAD GASKET, EDELBROCK ADJUSTABLE CAM GEARS, ARP HEAD STUDS AND WILL COME WITH AN EXTRA SET OF ARP ROD BOLTS! ALSO, IF YOU USE BUY IT NOW I WILL INCLUDE AN ALUMINUM LIGHTWEIGHT UNDERDRIVE PULLEY!! ALL INTERNAL OIL RUNNERS AND SQUIRTERS CLEANED AND FULLY FUNCTIONAL!! VTEC HITS HARD!! I PULLED THIS ENGINE THAT I HAVE PUT TOO MUCH MONEY INTO SO I COULD REPLACE IT WITH A B18A THAT I HAD, MAINLY SO I COULD SELL THIS ENGINE AND KEEP THE CAR AS A DAILY DRIVER. THE ENGINE RAN GREAT WHEN I PULLED IT OUT OF THE CAR, ALTHOUGH IT DID SMOKE A LITTLE AT FULL THROTTLE, THE MECHANIC WHO BUILT THIS ENGINE SAID THAT THE RINGS JUST MAY HAVE NOT HAD ENOUGH TIME TO SEAT, HE TOLD ME ENGINE BREAK IN TIME WAS ABOUT 200 MILES SO I BABIED IT FOR ABOUT 200 MILES..WELL REALLY I DIDNT EVER GET ON IT BUT JUST A COUPLE OF TIMES.. ONCE TO JUST SEE HOW IT PULLED, AND IT PULLED HAAARRD!!! AND THEN THE SECOND TIME WAS BECAUSE I SAW A LITTLE SMOKE A FULL THROTTLE THE FIRST TIME SO I TOOK MY MECHANIC FOR A RIDE THE NEXT DAY AND HE SAID THAT THE RINGS PROBABLY JUST HAVEN'T SEATED BECAUSE HE DID ALL THE WORK AS FAR AS PULLING THE ENGINE AND PUTTING IT BACK IN, BUT HE TOOK THE ENGINE TO A VERY REPUTABLE MACHINE SHOP HERE IN LONGVIEW, TX, TO HAVE THE VALVES ADJUSTED, HEAD MILLED, OIL RUNNERS AND SQUIRTERS CLEANED, AND A CLEAN UP HONE TO THE CYLINDER HOUSINGS AND THE PISTONS INSTALLED ONTO THE RODS AND RINGS INSTALLED. SO IT DOES BURN A LITTLE OIL BUT THE RINGS SHOULD SEAT SOON ENOUGH AND STOP THE BURNING. ALSO I WILL INCLUDE A COUPLE OF THE PIECES OF THE FACTORY TIMING BELT COVER THAT I REMOVED FOR LOOKS. UNFORTUNATELY MY MECHANIC OFFERED ME NO WARRANTY NOR DID THE MACHINIST, SO, ENGINE SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS/REFUNDS. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!
