gauging interest: WTS accord 94-95 integrated phone
My girlfriend's car came with an oem integrated phone direct from honda. We are looking into getting an aftermarket stereo and are thinking of taking out the phone at the same time since we both have cell phones of our own. Would anyone be interested in this thing? I can post pics if need be.

sooo how does it work? is it like a big *** cell phone or something? how does it get service. do you pay for it. blah blah blah and so on. just tell me about it and how it workds

It's an in car cell phone. You pay for service on the phone and use it at your convienience. It is connected directly to your stereo therefore when the phone activates (you get a call) the stereo mutes. Pretty neat little item.

i think this is a pretty cool little thing that honda does. i've seen this same thing from an acura too. i think its cool that honda would put this in an accord (especially 94 or 95) when this is more common in luxury sedans like 5 and 7 series BMWs and mercedes.
this, among other things, is what i like about honda

oh, i'd also like to know if you can choose your service provider. if you can, i might be willing to trade you a blaupunkt austin headunit with remote for this thing, provided you can assure me that it will hook up in my car (i mean with the plugs and harnesses and all). i have a 95 integra GSR.

I don't know about service because we have not had it set up. I cannot assure that it will fit a 95 gsr either
