FS: Y21 - OEM GSR transmission with OEM LSD
**JDM GSR trans with OEM LSD***
Good condition, just pulled from a running car a few days ago. The only disclosure is that the tranny would grind occasionally going from 3-4 under full load. This was used in a turbo car tuned at 350whp.
Buyer pays shipping, I always suggest having the transmission opened up and checked before using. I'll work with the buyer to cover any costs if issues are found. Selling at a price that I think is fair to have the tranny inspected, for piece of mind between both parties.
Buy with confidence, i've sold many trannies over the years. The last one I sold actually had a cracked diff bearing (which i was unaware of). I worked with the buyer to pay for parts and got everything taken care of.

No worries. I think the Y21 code actually applies to a few different vehicles based on charts I've seen. Mine just happens to be a OEM LSD version from the JDM GSR

The transmission is being repaired as we speak. It ended up needing a few sliders so I've decided to spend the money and get a Syncrotech kit with sliders and synchros.
I'll consider selling, but not sure on a price just yet. I'll have $550 in repairs with parts and labor.
