EK Parts: Bilstein Coilovers, RR Toe Arms, adjustable. Lots of stock parts!
Sob Story: I owned this car for 9 years, and a tree fell on it in July. I was extremely attached to this car, and I can't bring myself to buy another Honda right now. So I'm taking this opportunity to experience a different car. This is the only reason I'm selling any parts. If you need any stock parts, like LCAs, interior parts, etc., just let me know. I will post pictures (with username/date!) in this thread for you!.
Bilstein B12 BTS Coilover Kit, fits 96-00 Civic (and others..but made for EKs).
Price: $460 shipped
Ownership/Mileage: I bought them in July 2014, and they have around 7,000 miles on them (The civic was an autox/track car mostly).
Lowering Distance: This is advertised as a 50mm/2in drop in front, and 40mm/1.57in drop in back. Realistically, it's like a 3-4in drop in front, and 2in in the back. I made nylon spacers for the front, you can decide to use them or not....
Daily or Track?: More oriented towards racing, so they are stiff but not bouncy. For the price, these are absolutely fantastic! My plan was to buy a coilover sleeve kit from Ground Control ($370)... Bilsteins, two sets of springs, and adjustable ride height?? Hell yeah. Ground Control - Coilover Conversion kit, 92-00 Honda Civic/Del Sol(LIMITED EDITION)
BEFORE:
AFTER, no spacers, 185/65R14s
AFTER, no spacer 195/55R15
AFTER, front spacer 195/55R15 (~1" difference, hard to see I know... but made a huge difference with rubbing!)
Pictures of Coilovers:
DME Rear Toe Arms, Adjustable
Price: $40 +shipping
Work perfectly fine, fly *** red anodization.... not a whole lot else to say.
