B18B1 OBD2 swap Chicago Land Area
I have a B18B1 motor swap up for sale. As of right now, it is swapped into an EG hatch. It is running and driving, i wanted to leave it in there until its purchased because its nice to be able to see your getting a good running motor before you buy it. Upon either a deposit of $500 or paid in full, i will pull the motor. I must recieve atleast half as a deposit to pull the motor and you can pay the rest when you come pick the motor up.
It is a OBD2 B18B1 with around 95,000 miles on it, it originally was pulled from a wrecked integra and that is what was on the cluster.
Runs good, doesnt burn a drop of oil or coolant. Has 170-175psi compression accross all cylinders. Motor is completely stock.
Transmission is in great shape, does not grind or jump out of gear.
It also has a brand new water pump and timing belt OEM honda which were installed no more than 1,000 miles ago
Includes-
Motor
Transmission
Brand new set of axles and intermediate shaft, which have a lifetime warranty
P75 ECU which was out of a 94 LS integra.
All the accessories such as alternator, starter, power steering pump, AC compressor, Intake manifold, Exhaust manifold, throttle body.
Type R shift linkage.
Basically this is a complete swap minus a wiring harness.
If your planning to swap into an OBD1 honda, i will include the MSD ignition jumper harness which is ODB2-OBD1 conversion, basically converts your OBD1 2 plugs into 1 pin connector.
I also have a custom made Turbo exhaust manifold that will fit this motor, made from 1/4" thick steal, log style, T3 flange, set up for tial 38mm wastegate. Ill throw it in for an exra $100, its a $400 manifold...
I will NOT part anything out. Except the turbo manifold.
The only thing i am looking to trade is a complete D16z6, Y8, or ZC (sohc) swap, just motor, trans, and accessories. You must be able to prove its a good running motor and ill need $500 on top of the swap.
Im asking $1,000 OBO.
I can deliver the swap if need be. No more than 100 miles from my area. Just an extra $25 for gas will be needed for a delivery. Any more questions feel free to email me through craigslist.
Sold As is, no warranty. Deposits are non refundable.
As to why im selling the motor, i have always ran a boosted D in my hatch, i bought this motor from a buddy because blew up my built motor and i had intentions of turboing this motor. I dont have the money to finish the turbo setup and tune it before winter hits, so id rather just go back to a single cam so i can enjoy the rest of my driving season. Any questions, the best thing to do is email me at psychoteen101@aol.com, that or you can just PM or reply. I usually check H-T daily.
