Alaniz Built 84mm GSR Head and Full Race Intake Manifold
*****I will start parting out the head on 3/25. If you are interested in any of the individual parts from it send me a PM, and I will give you first priority. Casting, cam caps, and rockers will not be separated.*****
I have for a sale an Alaniz built 84mm GSR head and a Full Race intake manifold. I purchased this from digital_sol last spring with the intention of building a turbo B-series for my EM1, but I got a smokin' deal on a K-series and have decided to go all-motor K with the car so I don't need these anymore and would just like to get my money back out of them. They have just sat in my office and basement since I purchased them.
I am located in the Detroit Metro area for anyone interested in buying locally. I will only accept PayPal or cash as payment.
Per the PO, the cylinder head has:
- Skunk2 Pro valves
- Supertech springs and retainers
- Supertech valve seals
- New guides
- Alaniz Pro valve job
- Combustion chambers opened to 84mm
- Stock intake and exhaust ports
Overall, it looks to be in very good shape, I was told the head has a few drag passes on it. The carbon build up is minimal and the bearing and cam surfaces seem normal compared to what I've seen in the past. If you have any questions, please send me a PM so we can discuss. I like to be as honest as possible when selling so I don't waste your time and you don't waste mine.
I am asking $1000 obo for the head and valve cover (if the buyer is wants it). I would prefer to sell this locally, but I will ship free of charge.
Pics are below. I'm not a photographer, but I hope these show the majority of the head. If you would like to see anything specific please send me a PM.
The intake manifold is Full Race. As far as I can find online, it is a pre-production piece from 10+ years ago. The production pieces have less welds and the Full Race logo instead of their name. The plenum is fairly large (4ish liters) and is designed to be used with turbo engines. It comes with a 76mm Accufab throttle body and TPS.
I'm asking $500 obo for the intake and TB setup. As with the head, I would prefer to sell locally, but will ship free of charge.
Pics are below. If you want to see anything else let me know.
Thanks for looking!

Re: Alaniz Built 84mm GSR Head and Full Race Intake Manifold
So the PO had all that work done to the head but left the I/E ports alone? Was there a reason?
Do the marks on the corner of the head affect the sealing of the head gasket? That little gouge next to the scuff doesn't look flush with the head surface.

No idea why the work was done the way it was. It was for a turbo build so maybe he didn't think opening up the ports was necessary. Idk just speculation.
I can't imagine that scuff would hurt anything. As far as I can tell that isn't a sealing surface for the HG. The "crush" area on the gasket is tight to the drain back hole. If you look close you can see an outline from the crush area of the HG running around the edge of the drainback. That area also overlaps a not-flat area of the block casting.
Pic of the interface through that area for reference (stole this off of Google so don't mind the coolant leak):
If an interested buyer is concerned I can have the head skimmed at the cylinder head shop at work free of charge... Since I'm feeling generous I can have the head inspected in any way you wish at the cost of your wait time once a deposit is made.
Thanks.
