Video was great. How much time was taken to do that?

Sorry, but that was way too jumpy for me. My brain was hurting 2:00 into it, with all the abrupt scene changes, in-and-out of focus, and back-and-forth moves. The ten or so zooms on "BAM! FORTUNE AUTO!" were getting old too. And at the end, no in-car vid? That would've (potentially) helped a lot. I don't mean to be a dick with this, so think of it as constructive criticism :)

I partially disagree with Stinkycheezmonky. I too was left with an empty feeling due to the lack of in-car footage. However, the video's editing as an advertisement for Fortune Auto toward the "Fast and Furious" crowd serves it's purpose well, IMO.

ADD I guess? :P I suppose I can agree with it for that crowd. Just doesn't sit well with me personally.

Good time to trip thats for sure. LOL. All joking aside, I did like the video myself. I think it was (like ya'll said) it was more along the lines of an advertisement which served its purpose. It wasnt a "hey, look what I passed at VIR, look at me, I raced with Ferrari's and beat a 500hp car" video.

It took about 1.5-2 weeks of editing.

I tried to get in-car video, but for some reason the camcorder kept shutting off. I did some research and found that camcorders with internal hard drives or built in memory will shut off when the camcorder experiences jarring movements. So I bought a smaller camcorder with a SD card and will test that out this weekend! Thanks for the constructive criticism though :)

Yeah, the main purpose of the video was to highlight Fortune Auto...so I think it was good for that aspect lol

But as I recall, don't you still take dramamine for VIR, anyway?

I thought the video was good, you have a lot of good ideas. I think you could use a good tripod, get a fluid motion style head, that would help with your pans. Also, i think you could do without the angles, it's usually a big argument in the photog world, but i still side with less angles.

It was the first time I shot a video like this so yeah it wasn't as smooth as I would have liked. But, I shot another video this past weekend at the Redline Time Attack so we'll see how that turns out!

Great video, VIR is one of my favorties.
Pitted next to Whit and the rest of the guys (bad memory) this past weekend @ CMP RTA 5. Great group of guys.
