Skip Barber is a great school to go to. They usually have a school going on in a lot of locations. check it out. http://www.SkipBarber.com

Re: Racing Schools? (airwaves)
I would suggest starting out with some on-track drivers schools (HPDE events). Clubs offering schools at tracks all over the country, where you can drive your own car (any car) around the track, include NASA and BMW CCA (you don't have to own or drive a BMW). That's an inexpensive way to break in. Do those for a while. Then, if you want to step up to actual competitive racing, you can look into Skip Barber (expensive, but good) or club racing.

That will depend on which events you go to and who is running them.
The instruction from what I have seen with Nasa, carguys, mazda drivers, audi club, etc here in the mid-atlantic area is excellent and i'd recommend them to anyone.

The instruction I've seen in the Midwest with BMW CCA, NASA, PCA, CGI, etc is also excellent and highly recommended.
