Engine building................ errrrrrrrr aaaaaaaa isnt that the same guy who never shipped that guy back his engine after he paid for it up front??
Whats it been over a year now?
There was like a good 30 page thread about it someplace.
I wouldnt associate with anyone who deals with that kind of business practices.

That is no longer Daves email. I'll get it for you. And about and engine being built and never delivered, that was not Dave. He builds headers. I remember that thread but don't remember exactly who it was and don't want to start any rumors with speculation.

2 completely different people. SMSP Dave builds exhaust manifolds vs DonF builds engines.

I know the two are different. Dave needs to find better business associates.
Im just saying after what happened to this poor guy, and I was doing business with him , id surely call him out and have him correct it or he'd no longer be on my website as a trusted builder.
Here is the long post about their "trusted engine builder"

the SMSP site doesnt look like its been updated in like 5 years. Dave may not even update it anymore. I wouldnt take anything on his site to heart regarding who he does or doesnt do business with anymore. Dave is a standup guy, dont bash him for something he had no part in.

Ok, well, thanks for all the soap opera stuff.

I have made contact with Dave. Header for my D16A6 ITA prepped engine is on its way. Nice guy, gave me all the information I need to build the rest of the exhaust.

He's very helpful. He does need to update his website though. Except for his H-T signature I would have no idea how to get in touch with him again.

I've also dealt with Dave a number of times, and known him for a few years. He is an excellent dude, and I absolutely would not hesitate doing business with him again. Among other things, he actually told me NOT to buy one of his exhausts because it wouldn't benefit me (at the time).

Still in business.

I'm so guilty of an out of date web site I know. I was going to trade a mazda header for a new web site but I lost the guy's contact info.

I've been told that people can't view the site but it comes up every time I go to it.

Jim Justice built my last engine and will machine/build anything I need in the future.

I don't think I'd have a problem with that deal, could even come up and shoot some photos of the facility since you're not far off 95... even though I already have a header from you it couldn't hurt to have one laying around. lmk

Good to hear you are aware of the ugliness and arent promoting the later builder.
No excuse for what was done.
