Default Which Slider/Rails? Any feedback on the F1spec and/or Buddy Club

Anyone using the F1spec or Buddy Club slider/rail combo and having any issues? They are both identical designs.

I will be doing HPDE's.

I would just like to hear some feedback on both of these. Price is a $30 difference.

Anyone using these and having issues with the side mount brackets being weak/flimsy?

The PCI units are pretty damn good too.

anyone selling the PCI brackets used? I would like those. It looks pretty much like the sparco seat base plus their side mount brackets just bolted together but with the option to slide for some adjustment if needed.

Buddy clubs work perfectly. been using them for years and no problems. The PCI are nice as well, but not worth it if ure just learning. u will be switching between u and ure instructor too much for a stationary seat.

Are the buddy clubs rigid/any flex in them? I've been doing HPDE's for 3 years now and finally bought a seat.

No one else but maybe my 2 friends might drive the car and they are the same height, so I'm not too concerned about being able to adjust them although it would be nice.

I'm just concerned about any flex if any from the Buddy Club seat rails. I couldn't find any definite answers. I really like the PCI, but I just can't spend that extra $120 right now.

Also, how low do the Buddy Clubs get? I have a 00 GSR w/sunroof and the seat is a Sparco Evo. I know the PCI's will be the lowest and I'm assuming the BC's will be about an 3/4 of an inch higher.

Charles,

Does the 5th & 6th points mount to the cross bracket in the two outer of the 3 holes I see on it? I'm assuming it does which is a nice feature.

Iv used both Buddy Clubs & TDM Rails and they did give off large amounts of play. Though they are quite affordable, the quality is compromised IMO.

The center brace with the 90 degree bend with 3 holes is for the 5/6th point harness mounting.

They are double locking but the material that they use is fairly flimsy so it does flex and cause the seat to wobble.

I love my BC's, but the PCI's look amazing. I didn't read the whole thread but I assume you picked up the PCI's.

Ya I picked up the PCI. I will definitely write a review on them. I wanted something that was going to be solid on the track and not have any flex. I've heard good things about the BC's for regular street driving, but I'm just mainly concerned for the track. They do look sweet and will be lower then the BC's which should be nice.

The seat frames.brackets will make you lower, only when you have an "official" PCI decal will you see gains in lap times.
Rumor has it 5-6 hp difference.

hopefully you get the new versions of them. my first versions were unreal just to get 3 holes lined up but it is a great product. the new versions are supposed to have bigger holes for the "chassis" bolts.
