Default Shifter Kart Tracks in Florida

I found a pretty cool place in Ocala called Ocala Grand Prix. They have high speed carts for rental on a 1/2 mile track. It was pretty fun.

I was wondering if anyone else knew of any tracks in Florida where you can go karting.

I'm thinking of getting a 125cc shifter kart and want to know where I'll be able to track it besides just Ocala.

Daytona should be having finals right after christmas. Should check it out. Dont know how far the drive is. Just know my dad usually travels there or somewhere in Jacksonville for finals. He tunes the karts.

HHMM. Jacksonville or Daytona are not that far. I'm really just looking for tracks that allow people to drive their shifter karts on them. I'm not really looking to get into racing at this point but just have fun with it.

Can you find out what the story is for tracking at either Jax or Daytona?

I can ask my dad. I know Jack is a small track so there more so what your looking for. Daytona is just a finals thing. Its nasty seeing the 250cc karts busting out 170ish around the bank. Then the 125cc doing about 120ish on it.

Just ask him. Here. http://www.endurancekarting.co...20Map

There is Primus in North Palmetto, located just north of Bradenton/Sarasota. 30 mins south of Tampa.

It is more of a formula race team base, which rents out the track to carts.

Get on ekartingnews.com

There's a bunch of Florida-based stuff on there. I had a few friends who did a fair bit of travelling around south florida for karting, they had enough events to go to to keep themselves very busy.

I thought the neighbors got that place shut down due to noise/traffic complaints.
