Default Team Lovely's H2 Junkyard Civic

So we made a few changes to the car for the upcoming 08 season.

I added rear disc from an Si and bigger fronts from an Accord(Karl just loves that)
We also put in a B16a2 with J4d tranny. I finally got a good alignment and the car got tuned at Carter Racing. So H2 here i come!!!

I would like to thank Johns Honda Recycling for keeping my car on Track last year and for all the help getting it ready again for this year. Karl as always was a big help with the project.

and Karl, youll be seeing alot of this

Which one was that? I just found out yesterday that hoods and Lexan are practically a done deal.

Composite hoods are already allowed in H2 no?

Edit: Shane, what's the weight on that thing? Were you able to get it down near the 2250# min weight?

No. I thought so too, but they are only listed in the H1 body section and are not in the H1-5 body section or the H2 body section.

10.2(m) on page 14 or 16 covers it for LPVs, or are you referring to RPVs?

Doesn't make any difference. There's no allowance for composite hoods or Lexan that I can see anywhere in H2...

I could have sworn that I had read that hoods were already allowed, so I went and found it.

Under section 10.2 - H2 Limited Prep Rules

m) Non OEM composite hoods are permitted

117 was right on with the section number.

I think the rules request that's outstanding may be for allowing composite trunks and hatches as well as lexan rear windows.

It would only make since the hoods, trunks, and lexan are allowed in H2

He has 92-97 accord calipers and brackets, they are almost the same as the 99-00si and some other civics, the difference is the accord calipers fit a thicker pad. He is using them with civic ex/si integra rotors.
