ya its a blast it was a pretty fast course too i was hitting low 60's in the main straighter section. After the studded/spiked cars ran a bit it got real rutted up and setions were like driving on rails literally. I just recieved my 1000 bolt set to spike a set of tires or nex ice season.

So is the ice racing set up to go stage rally fast? Seems like they'd use more turns with no cage etc. lol tho I hit 60 on gravel at the end of the rallyx so I could be wrong

Im still VERY VERY new to road racing. I'm hoping to get a lot of seat time and learn enough to drive the car to its full potential. I hate that i downshift so much into a turn but i cant seem to shake that habit no matter how much i prepare myself. guess i just need more practice.

I have the tendency of downshifting like you, it seems like you went down 3 gears you might want to re-evaluate that down to two or one. Just try and focus on braking and hitting the apex. Downshifting/revmatching helps reduce speed but if you don't do it fast enough or over-rev you may be in for a treat.

btw, your car sounds pretty good.

haha yeah i know about B spec. having a K20A Type R in my fit and my wheel size will disqualify me im sure haha. My goal is Time Attack ultimately. for now just HPDE and open track days.
