I'm going to have to dig around on that one. I know that car, paddocked next it once at ORP (then again, you paddock next EVERYONE at ORP). They are a Canadian group (obviously) and they race with Conference (ICSCC) at some events. I believe they work closely with The Ridge and its ownership.

The Daytona bound team is Bullet Racing from Vancouver, BC. They have been active up at Mission Raceway for years. They've participated at the 24 Hrs of Daytona for the past 4 years, I actually crewed with them in 08.

Very cool! How did that go? Do you help in the garage, pits, radio? How do the rotations work with the rest of the crew members? What's the crew size - I assume ~ 30 ppl for 2 cars?

All Joking aside I know what you mean. I will be there on both days, probably 1 day as an instructor and 1 day for myself to shakedown the race car and give joy rides (instructor privilege).

Didn't see many Hondas at all. Lots of pro 3 mafia and euro imports. Heck there was even a new fiat running at the Ridge! The Bullet Racing Porsches were running 1:40 laps and that was with other slower cars on the track to contend with. They were very fast. Good job to Collin and his CRX!!! Was your CRX the only Honda or what?

I didn't do a Honda roll call but there is a possibility that I was the only Honda. With everything going on I actually didn't even check out any other cars (except the 911 AWD Turbo I rode in).

Hopefully we can get some more Hondas out at the track and into racing.

If you're looking at getting a Novice Licence with Conference and doing some racing (Either renting a ride or racing your own racecar) here are some upcoming IRDC racing schools:

April 14th the IRDC has a racing school that is affordable and absolutely worth it (2 day, 1 day ground school, 1 day track day).

June 16th is another racing school/track day by IRDC at The Ridge Motorsports Park.
