who says you couldnt modify a stock ITR front lip to make it work? or is it not long enough to make it work? ive been looking at thing thing and pondering for a couple weeks now for my 96 RS

I think that combo will not work, the airdam is not ideal for doing the job it needs to do. There will be areas where the lip/airdam is not sealed to the splitter. So you may not get the full benefit of the package. I'm doing the same on my EG with a mugen lip. I plan to cut and trim to flatten the bottom slightly, to be able to mate flat all around and get the true "dam" effect.Hopefully it works..

take a flat piece of plywood and set it up to your itr lip , then you can see how much you would need to trim. Mugen lip will work better than ITR IMO

DON'T WORRY GUYS...
I have a new Fiberglass manufacturer coming to look at my stuff this Saturday.
Hopefully we will be into full production of Air Dams that will fit - EG, EK, CRX, DC2 '94, DA and DC5 real soon...
The P1 Spec. Splitter Brackets already fit every Honda, and the Splitter Blades are no Problem either. You just need the correct fitting Air-dam to complete the package!

I came in on Wed. to check out the work being done on my car and also pick it up and saw the eg splitter in production. Looking great, i cant wait until its done.

We are just about to release the EG & EK Air-dams... Along with our new Splitter blade material.
Now one of the problems we are trying to overcome is the SHIPPING COSTS!
These kits are quite bulky and cost around $100.00 each for me to ship to MLR Motor Sports. So obviously if we can ship several at a time the shipping costs will be reduced drastically. Matt is doing a great job as our East Coast Distributor!

Road race gear make a nice product, and it's reasonably priced.
However, The P1Spec Airdam is molded in Fiberglass, can be removed and re fitted in 10 seconds! The Splitter comes with a uniqe set of mounting brackets that allows the Air Dam, then the splitter to be removed and refitted and locked in seconds without the use of any bolts, screws or rivets. The Fiberglass Cloth coated splitter blade will stand up to the rigours of curb hopping, and off track excursions far more than an alloy sheet.

I just saw that you're thinking about a CRX application. Woo-hoo! I own two (2) Road Race Gear air dams and while they're nice, I love how your design actually bolts that splitter up to the chassis instead of just the bumper.

I'm also liking the disconnect of the splitter portion. Then I can still run straps up to the tow hooks and keep the bumper on the car when strapped to the trailer and the splitter doesn't get in the way.

Unfortunately the series has rules about how far the splitter can run and how deep it can go. Sooooo, it would have to be custom i guess?
