OT: My first Auto X.....
All I can say is daaaaamn.. It was awsome I had so much fun and the people there were super nice. Anyways on with the race. I was in the Street Touring Class (STS) and I ended up 2nd after the two day event being 2 sec behind the 1st place guy. But it was dope and I would never of imagined it could be such an experience and so overwhelming sitting there driving through the course. If you have never done it and are even the slightest bit interested in it definitely give it a try, and you wont be dissapointed...

hey...great job, man! That's pretty damn good to get 2nd place on your first time. As soon as I get my new wheels, I'll be tearing it up at Solo II.

heheheh.. first, congrats on your success!
second, your region has 2 day events??
How long (in seconds) was the course?
btw, you are now addicted.. start shopping now for the spare rims and dedicated tires.. (unless you don't have that many events per year..)

Re: OT: My first Auto X..... (MechE00)
Thanks everyone .....
MechE00... yeah this was a 2 day event.. It was a divisional event.
The course was being run in 38 seconds by the modded cars with the DOT approved race tires. I ran it in a 44.67 with my kumho 712's and almost stock teg (just CAI and eibach sportlines) .
And finally yes I am addicted .. and I am in the process of finding out more about some events closer to me.. this event was only 70 miles, but it is the only one at that location every year the others are about a 4-5 hr drive. And yes I need some spare rims and some of those sticky *** tires..
thanks again
