Default open wheel racing

Hey guys, I know this isn't honda related, but does anyone have any experience in open wheel racing (such as formula vee)? I was thinking it may be less expensive (and more exhilarating) to run in the small formula cars rather than risk an expensive car. Too bad there isn't a formula honda class =p Of course, I don't think you can do HPDE's in forumla cars(I may be wrong). Anyone know how one would go by getting starting in one of the formula classes?

There is... just not in North America. Formula Honda is a large class in Europe. A guy at Waterford Hills runs a couple (made by Jedi, see pic) of them in one of the open classes. The cars are very fast (faster than FC) and sound awesome (CBR motor).

If they ever take off over here, I'd seriously consider getting one!

i've thought of it too, but from talking to some FV drivers, they say its still more expensive than running any car in IT. but someday id like to try it out, maybe rent one.
