Any 2-strokers come out and race at your track?
I used to race Formula Y back in the day. 2 stroke Yamaha on a Birel chassis. We'd be lucky to have 4 guys in our class, but the 4-stroke classes usually fielded 8-10 guys for each class.

Looking forward to the 2013 season, I really enjoyed this past season. With the driver changes for 2013 I personally think its going to be a great season. Hopefully there will be a different driver winning the first 7 Grand Prix.

Also an FYI, my account is new but my work used to get a lot of business from HT. I just had to see how this thread is, just cause I'm EXTREMELY familiar with some of the other members are (some of them aren't too smart and believe the unseen over the seen).

Alonso is one of the best 5 on the grid, but Im still not sold on the whole terrible car thing....he is driving for Ferrari not Caterham.
This is also a team sport, and that is another reason I love watching this sport so much.
Anyway, cant wait for the new season to start! Its awesome that we only have to wait a few months for the season to start unlike most sports having 6 month off seasons.

I would have to agree to that ...esteban. People keep saying that same **** over and over again. I'm a Fernando fan, but they just simply got out developed.
I will try to be more active in this thread. Me and a good friend have been F1 fans for a while. It's kind of sad I have to travel 1.5 HRS to CT and watch it with him as none of my local friends like it... Oh well.

True, but I don't think Lotus had the upper hand on pure speed over the Ferrari all season like the McLaren and RB8 had. Once Lotus stopped effing around with the DDRS thing and went with the Coanda exhausts, they were definitely a match for the Ferrari on 1/2 the budget?
Whoever "calibrated" that wind tunnel should be...fired. Seriously. The team that should really be kicking themselves is McLaren. Hami should have won the title this year IMO. Amazing how many points they gave away.

I agree with you Esteban. Im actually a fan of his because I know he had an uphill battle and never, ever gave up..The same cant be said for others on that grid.
Still a RBR fan, but I really love rooting for KIMI who is also my wifes favorite now. (Lucky my wife really likes F1 and is pissed if I watch Quali without her lol)

I give him props, he's a good freaking driver. Just cause Ferrari supposedly designed a crappy car (which I don't believe because how he did this past season).

I read Kubica could be Pirelli's test driver this year, eying a full return in 2014. Anyone heard more or anything aside from rumors about that?

Nice pics Rota. That last one is dreamy.
I was watching some re-aired DTM race last night and half the grid girls had muffin tops. Muffin tops!?!? Seriously guys, how hard is it to find a few sloars to stand around and hold a pole.
And lately, I've developed a strange attraction to DTM backmarker Rahel Frey.

Re: The Official Formula 1 2013 Season Thread
Last I read Kubica was not fully recovered enough to stand the rigors of a full F1 season. Thats a new bit of rumour to me about the Pirelli test driver possibility..........hmmmmm. However I thought he was a good talent before his accident.
