Default need info about Strut bars. i did search but i need more info.

Hey I did a search about strut bars and all I got is different answers. I need to know this cuz im going to purchase front and rear strut bars from a fellow H-T member for $30 shipped they are no name strut bars. heres the questions
Do they make any difference at all?
Would no name brands be just as good as name brands?
Are they worth it?
Can they have a negative affect to the car?
Has anybody had anything bad happend to them cuz of strut bars.
i'll be adding more questions when i think of them.

TIA

Yes, but very minor. You probably won't notice a difference.

Yes. It's just a simple bar to link the strut towers, not much engineering involved.

For $30, why not. Full retail, probably not.

None that I am aware of.

Search the archives, your questions have been answered.

-They make a difference, but it is not measurable on independent f/r suspension Hondas.
-The brand shouldn't matter. So long as it doesn't deform, it's doing its job.
-They aren't worth the price people pay for them, but I wouldn't cry over losing $30...of course that's almost a handle of Jose Cuervo, so maybe I would cry.
-It won't hurt a car's performance unless you are worried about the added weight. If you are then you probably should buy strut bars since you are obsessed with insigficant details.

Edit: I'm slow.

You are going to get different answers regardless of how often the question is asked. In order...

Not that you can measure
Yes - or just as useless
No
Probably not
Not that I know of
