hehe looks like fun! reminds me of when I took my M45 on a road course, albeit much lighter, bit slower, and FWD.

looking good man. looks like you need to get yourself a good pair of gloves you keep wiping your hands on your pants after each shift. But i can't tell from the vid but are you engine braking or heel-n-toe when your coming to your stopping markers? To bad P2R Accord is not racing anymore would of been nice to see the to Accords dook it out on that trace

thanks guys and yea im in the intermediate class i am by no means a pro or do i intend to be one...just out there havin fun i guess im in the upper class of the intermediates lol.. and yea i am engine braking right now my brakes are struggling so i help it out tht way...yea i always wanted to run on the track with P2R but they told me the best lap they ever ran on this same course was a 1:41.5 with the accord and that thing was 200lbs lighter than me and making 300whp

Get out there with NASA or chinmotorsports. You will find a faster group and plenty of well driven Hondas

cool i already ran with NASA the weekend before this heres a vid..this is the Intermediate class. And Chin rapes your wallet ill pass. Prolly not gonna run with NASA again either. ERME is by far the most reasonable club to run track days with (only 150 per person for about 2 hours of track time). Anything more than 150 buks is abuse and not practical.

Who is ERME? I don't pay as I instruct but I am always looking for more options, I work a lot of weekends. Do you know if they allow s2000 with factory roll hoops?

nice i have been asked to instruct but i am a bit fearful of being in the passenger seat while an inexperienced driver is pushing the car to the limit..i have seen a few instructors get slammed into the wall off of turn 10 @homestead.

Eh, you'll be fine.
Imagine right-seating in ferraris and lamborghinis with people with little/no driving skill... Now you'll know how I feel you get over it after you do it a bit. Just be sure your driver isn't driving over their head and you'll be fine.

Cool Video!! Im glad there are more hondas out there. I've been there a couple of times but in novice group, lots of fun. Went by myself with my evo surrounded by vettes, 911 n camaros n ferraris. Im currently working on an EP3 to go back to the track. Erme is the 2 for 1 group price right?
I saw your post also on trackweekend.com. My screen name is OceanReef. When is the next event? Im trying to get a little Honda group to roll together to homestead, palm beach or maybe sebring! Let me know if you will be interested.

I am interested. I got an EG with a k20 swapped in I just picked up. The oil pan is too low so I am looking into skid plates before bringing her out. I got an s2000 until I start with the civic. Will go to homestead with HOD July 9. If you are advanced group they let you run the roles course so the banking is fun to launch down the front straight

We could use more Hondas as HOD. It's a lot of Porsche, vette and even lotus.

Thanks. Looking into ERME. I hear you on your concerns. My last was a young Russian guy in feragamo loafers. When I jumped in his car that was second in line to leave the pits he was smoking. As soon as we hit the back straight all kinds of flyers fr night clubs started flying out fr under the seat and were swirling around the cabin.

I think the trackweekend guys might have won chumpcar yesterday. They were fast in a 240 Nissan. We were about 2 seconds off there lap but our 540 gobbles up tires. Not the best thing for a 7 hour race.... But she's fun to drive

yea the event i went to last weekend, i was the only honda.
I guess most honda stick to autox. When i did autox there were quite a few.

If you go to FARA or NASA you will see all kinds of fast Hondas. When I went to the last FARA event there was an EG with a k20 swap running 1:41's on the inside road course.

yea thats Juan Paulino that car is sick!! i have talked to him many times all he works on is hondas and he has his own shop where he maintains/builds peoples race cars and he also has an RSX he races...and that hatch can run low 1:39s i have seen him do it before...crazy!...he would be the ideal person to get in touch with for anyone that wants to get started he has alot of experience and is a super easy going guy and very understanding
