That is a real bummer. He should just put a B16 or B18 in that CRX and go at it for Nationals. I can bet it probably be more competitive than the D series.

I suggested a B16a but he didn't sound convinced that it would be competitive.

H2, will Allan Haggai defend his title?
</TD></TR></TABLE>
Sadly, I will not. I registered back in May and anxiously checked the roster weekly hoping for all of last year's H2s to return along with a bunch of new H2 hatches...but as of last week there were only (2) other H2s registered. I just can't get excited enough to justify the expenses and 3 days off work to go race with a couple of guys. It was a tough decision, but it's made.
Have fun guys and be safe!

This is actually what I'm disappointed about too. I thought with the rule change, it would give H2 a good boost.
I guess it takes time to build it up.

Sad, but I think I'm going to follow suit and drop out. There just isn't enough participation in H2 to make the haul up from Texas.

Re: Honda Challenge NASA Nationals (DR)
well crap! Have you guys tried classing your cars in PT. Maybe we can all go play in PTC/B or what ever our H2 cars end up in. If we all move to PTC their would be over 10 in that class.

Brian Casella will be moving up to H2 from H3.

Re: Honda Challenge NASA Nationals (Wai)
We have 5 H2 cars here in Texas but only 1 other one is eligible because of the 5-race rule and he can't make it this year.

Re: (Mista Bone)
As of today H2/H3 has the following signed up.
H2
J. Allan Haggai
David Rierson
Wai-Ho Chiang
Walter McKinney
H3
Brian Casella
John Reamer
I hear that both the H3 cars are going to run in H2, and that makes 6 total. Is 6 enough for you guys to make the trip? (David, and Allen?), I was hoping to race with you guys again this year.

Re: Honda Challenge NASA Nationals (DR)
I would go and run our Si in H2 ...
It's been a while, but don't you have to have run a number of regional events to qualify to go to the nationals?

Re: Honda Challenge NASA Nationals (KIWI)
As long as you have 5 race days with NASA (in 2007), you can run what ever class you want at the national race.

five races not five race days, you could get four in a weekend with a double entry.

George, really depends.
I showed up at 6:50 am, said I was with SCCA, signed waiver, wristband slapped on and I was in.
Mine you I was ready to pay the $10 entry (would it have gone to Cincy SCCA?) fee to get in.

Sippee hole update
Just got of the phone with the media gal at Mid-Ohio and asked about the flooding. Sounds like its no big deal. They missed the worst of the rain and the flooding they did have was not unusual. It moved a bit of dirt around and the grounds crew is dealing with it already.
See you there in a couple weeks.
