Default First time out with kraftwerks sc kit

We did a 1.29 laptime at Big willow:up: first time out. It was good enough to take first in class and second over all in modified at the last Redlline Time attack. The car almost 5 seconds faster then our last test with was with a N/A setup:up:
you can see all the result at www.redlinetimeattack.com

What's the deal with that supercharger? For that matter, I didn't even see it in your engine bay...

Kraft Werks makes Rotrex kits; the blower sits below the water pump where the AC would normally be.

It's good to see those Rotex superchargers work very well.
And from what I read from the tech feature of this in Modified (plug!) and the subsequent translation in to english from my father.
Those things are just pure awesomeness.

Only problem is they somehow decided that they would rather make kits for the Fit instead of the B series.

Nice pics and congrats on 1st place. You guys think you can beat your time with the NA setup at buttonwillow? How is the supercharge k20 compare to the NA k20? Arent they pushing out roughly the same horsepower? Sorry for all the questions but I was curious why you guys went supercharge when the K20 did fairly well for you guys over the years. :D

Congratulations Loi.
All you need now is the GEAR-X Close ratio box and you could knock another two seconds off!
I remember when I came here in '94 to work for Oscar Jackson when the first ever Jackson/Eaton Supercharger kit was fitted to my "88 CRX. I produced some information from a friend in Denmark on the ROTREX Superchargers... I think I nearly got fired for even mentioning such a thing!
Oh well how things change... Congratulations Oscar for seeing the light!

Looks like you obviously had some cooling issues.Any plans for a bigger radiator-that's tiny for the kind of power you're probably making.Hell,my stock B20 sometimes gets a little hot with a similar rad to what you're running.

I was fine at Roebling Road in July with 408 WHP (turbo B16) and a Fluidyne half-width radiator, same for CMP in October in SC with 350 WHP (supercharged B20) . I think that it depends on the quality of the radiator.

That really surprises me. Maybe Fluidyne does something differently, but the non-VTEC motors seem to need a lot of cooling, even stock.

Wow Tim, there is quite a bit of time left in that car at that track!

I bet with a little more time, you'll have it in the 1:28's with ease and maybe the 1:27's after some fine tuning!

Well, with you driving Jeremy it would do 1:26.

Yup! I completely agree with you. With more development, the car will be in the 28's easily. But for a car that only sees track time during time attack events (3-4 events per year?), I'm pretty content with the results. Congrats on your 1st place win in street class RWD, btw! That is no easy accomplishment by any means .

op, love the car.

Mike, you're talking about the radiator or the motor?
