Clutch is too far awaaayyyyy!!
So I've been fighting with ideas of how to remedy this...If I sit close enough to push the clutch down far enough, I'm too close for the brake/throttle. If I sit far enough away from the brake/throttle, I end up short stroking the clutch. I tried to make a pedal spacer for the clutch but it was crude and I felt there may be a better way. Do any of you guys have this problem? What should I do? This is a 3rd gen Integra by the way.
Thank you,
Frankie

Re: Clutch is too far awaaayyyyy!!
5' 9", 30" inseam, stock 94-97 DC seats for now. The problem I have is my right leg doesn't get to extend as far as the left and my knee gets stiff after about 20 mins. If I move the seat back enough to allow my right leg to extend enough to be comfortable, I end up clipping gears because I'm short stroking the clutch. I feel like life would be much easier if I could bring the clutch 2" closer. With my wheel setup, I can have the seat all the way back and feel much more comfortable operating the brake and throttle (more room for heal-toe activities) but gear changes suffer

Try reclining the seat back a hair or two, then move the seat a little closer than you normall do.
I'm just a little shorter than you but our inseams are the same.
Stock seats have much more adjustability than a fixed back for sure.
We primarily use race seats only here.
When we run into that problem , we lay the seat back some ( tilt it back on the seat side mounts)
Comfort is important, however being close enough to manipulate pedals, steering can present a challenging issue.
I come from a long karting background, so being close is important to me.
There are others who like the whole Oakland lean while they drive. Not for me.
Experiment with the closeness and lean angle.

I played with the seat a bit this morning on my way to work. Reclining it helped with getting the wheel a little further away while being close enough to the pedals. I really think I need to pull the dash and do some mods to the clutch pedal assembly. I want it closer with a pedal stop so I don't max out the CMC. I had it adjusted to disengage earlier so I can short stroke it but I guess it travels too far and blows out the seals. It started puking fluid after a couple months. Maybe I'll just do up a pedal box and stop complaining
