I was wondering what are the tue benefits of full synthetic Brake fluid....
and if going to a fluid such as Motul will be better than OEM honda Fluid..
also..what would be the best to go to if I do go to a Motul brand or so..
sorry kinda new to Brake upgrades.. and any information will be appreciated

"Racing" fluids like Motul 600 and ATE SuperBlue have a higher boiling point than most OEM fluids. This gives the user a greater temperature range in which his brakes will work. Once the fluid boils, the pedal "goes away" - the gases which are created from boiling are compressible, so the pedal goes to the floor.

The downside is most of these fluids absorb water faster than OEM fluid. It is the absorbed moisture that boils and causes teh problems. Thus, the racing fluids need bled/changed more frequently.

For street use, stock Honda fluid is more than adequate. Same for autocross.

For high speed track use and racing, the upgraded fluid is essential.

I wouldn't consider ATE Superblue a "racing" fluid at all. The Type 200 fluid (Superblue's amber cousin) is OEM on BMW's and from my personal use with this fluid in 4 cars over 6 years, I'd say it's exceptionally streetable and a very good upgrade from stock, while not losing much if any longevity.

In fact, most reviews of these two fluids too state how it's not hydroscopic and is a good dual purpose (street/race) fluid for those interested in a high performance alternative to their OEM fluid.
