93 Prelude vs 08 Civic Si Racecars Duel @ NJMP
Yes, some of our cars might be getting up there in years but they can still keep pace with newer, more powerful machinery. As proof of this, here's a short clip from last weekend's USTCC East Series race where an H23 powered Honda Prelude Si (non-VTEC!) took the fight to a well prepared Civic Si and kept up for the entire 20-lap race.

Thanks for the words of encouragement! Yeah, Thunderbolt is a fun track, and even today the Prelude is a great platform for a racecar.
The main problem I have at Thunderbolt (aside from some easily fixable low-speed understeer) is the gearing. I'm usually between two gears at several points on track, like through turn 4 and going into the Octopus. It's annoying because the gearing is absolutely perfect for the Lightning track on the other side of the facility.
