Default 225/45/15 Toyo Ra1's on a CRX

Will these tires fit on a CRX with a 15x7 +45 offset? I figure if anybody has done it, it would be here.

They fit on a 91 Civic, but I'm not sure what offset I have. 38 or 40, I think. Some fender "rolling" required.

I used a hammer...

I fit a 225/50-15 Pilot Sport Cups on my 90 Civic. I had to raise it up to make the tires clear. I am running Konig Heliums. I picked up a set of 225/45-15 to try.

Sorry I didnt know, I searched but came up with nothing. So it'll rub on the inside, if I dont use spacers, and on the outside if I dont roll the fender. If I do both, it will fit?

Yes, yes, yes.

I run a 225/45/15 RA1 on a CRX with a 38mm offset. They are perfect with no rubbing!

If you run a 5mm spacer, you'll get back to 40mm which should be ok. The 40mm offset wheels I ran once rubbed the RTA just slightly under heavy cornering loads.
So, you should be fine!

How are you guys fitting any kind of spacer in on a stock hub without changing out studs? I tried a 1/4in spacer and didn't like the thread engagement, or lack thereof.

The tire isn't too "squeezed" onto the rim? I thought most manufacturers recommend a 8" wheel? reason why I'm asking is because I was thinking of changing my suspension setup and going to a wider tire frt and rear.

thanks

15 x 7 is the max width in both ITA and H4, which most people using the RA1 225 x 15 are in.
