Race three grid is set by race two fast lap times. Since I was on dries and everyone else in class was on wets, I'm starting last. Jer didn't race because of a CEL/no start or something. Ben and I had a great battle going until he pushed wide in T11 on the brakes. I had a fuel cut issue, so I maintained the gap. Helen broke on lap two or so, then towards the end of the race; Ben broke a LCA. At that point, I went full conserve mode. Start P3, end up finishing P1.

Race two doesn't have much class action besides the chase. We passed 17 cars in 11 laps and I came across the line .572 back.

Race 3, I got the lead and held the gap for awhile. I caught some traffic at inopportune times plus tires falling off, the gap closed. I got punted and lost position, but was awarded P1 after the race.

And, do you have any pictures of your drink tube set up? I've thought about cutting the current hose and putting a hard plastic "adapter" through the helmet. But, I can commit on drilling into the helmet. Lol.

That is correct sir, we refer to it as the passenger seat lol.
I'll get ya some detailed shots of the drink set up. We bought a reservoir online and made a bracket to bolt it to the floor.Theres a small submerged pump that was about $7 on Amazon at the bottom.. The switch in the steering wheel gets it to flow. And I did have to drill into the helmet. They drill them for the HANS device post, so I just had to get over it and send it. It's bitching on a hot day. Dump some ice in it before you head out and just start sippin' and dippin on everyone...

After over 4 years off, I finally got back in a race car for SCCAs new bracket enduro. This was day 2, stint 2. We were up about 31 laps and won our class, so I was a couple seconds slower than the previous day.

So rusty, but it was a lot of fun to be racing again!

I had planned on it, but life in general seems to be getting in the way; financially and otherwise, so it's highly doubtful at this point.

its never easy, the higher entry fees and racing for 3 days straight tend to hit the wallet hard. I was lucky enough to get a bonus at work, that's what made it possible for me. Otherwise I woulda just catching the live stream. We get good ol' buttonwillow this year. It's not fancy like Laguna but it's cheaper and the racing will probably be better. You were the tech at last years west coast Nats right?

I'll be looking forward to getting into the mix next season with you Brad. I have been missing wheel to wheel. I have to start working on getting as much overtime as possible next year though. With the wedding coming up in 2 months and the honeymoon shortly after we'll see how many races I'm able to afford! HAHA!

Also are the videos just for wheel to wheel or is it's for all race videos like the last thread we used to have running?
